“There is no love of life without despair of life”

Therapy is a creative journey, a moment by moment experience of courage, openness and a willingness to try something new in order to gain an awareness of a different perspective.

Roots & Riptides Psychotherapy is a therapy practice offering creative therapeutic modalities for children, adolescents, adults & families. Roots & Riptides Psychotherapy is strength-based, person centered, promoting flexibility, autonomy & decision making, & supporting individualized treatment planning and resources.

With over twenty-five years of experience in supporting children, adults and families through their journey of healing, growing and navigating transformations, Rebecca Boyle, MSW, LCSW created Roots & Riptides Psychotherapy from her embodied passion of holistic healing & enhancing overall wellbeing. She holds an understanding and belief that from the depths of transformations, wisdom & creativity can arise.

Roots & Riptides prioritizes restorative healing & emotional, physical and spiritual balance by utilizing creative, nature & mindfulness based therapeutic modalities in order to develop a deeper understanding, connection to yourself & the world around you.

Together, let’s explore the emotional, spiritual and physical obstacles that have been holding you back from awakening, aligning and connecting to your true soul’s desire.

  • Mindfulness Base Cognitive Therapy-Children (MBCT)

Cognitive therapy theorizes that each individual forms a core belief about who they are in early life & this belief determines future thoughts & actions of that individual. This action-oriented approach takes the stance that in order for one to make changes in their life, they must first look at changing how they think about those things. Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy utilizes mindfulness practices to bring awareness to core beliefs & thoughts.
