Rebecca Boyle is a mindfulness based therapist, specializing in working with Highly Sensitive People (HSP). Rebecca works collaboratively guiding children, adolescents, adults & families through the challenges of relationships, difficult transitions, and the exhilarating ride of parenthood. She has an expertise in working with Highly Sensitive People, HSP. Rebecca received her undergraduate degree in 1999 from the University of New Haven, in Connecticut and began working with nonprofit agencies supporting and building social work programs, and working with multi-generational families for the last 20 years. Rebecca graduated from Simmons College in Boston MA. with her MSW, specializing in Child and Family Violence. Her clinical experience includes working with children, teens, adults, & families in outpatient settings, day treatment, in-school settings, tele-health, and Home and Community Treatment.
As a psychotherapist, Rebecca is deeply passionate about supporting individuals within the community. When working with individuals & families, Rebecca’s clinical work embodies an eclectic approach to therapy by incorporating traditional psychotherapeutic modalities; psychodynamic, mindfulness based cognitive-therapy, and narrative while infusing creativity, nature, imagination, and guided imagery. Rebecca specializes in treating highly sensitive children, adolescents adults & families who are also experiencing anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, transition, relationship and/or parenting challenges. Her personality can be described as warm, unique, gentle, sensitive, and authentic.
Personal
Rebecca grew up in central Maine, spending much of her childhood outside, daydreaming, writing, playing with siblings & cousins at her grandparents camp, or going on annual family camping trips. As an adult, she continues to enjoys spending her free time in the outdoors, going on adventures, hanging out with her sweet & funny children, devouring a good book, and of course, lots of daydreaming.
